New AMBER Alert Video: Would Your Children Know How to Stay Safe?

Only a few weeks ago, we featured an article about the AMBER Alert System. Recently, AMBER Alert has released a brand new video about staying safe. Intended for younger children, aged from around 4 to 11, it teaches kids about how to stay safe, and avoid being abducted. The tape is available with a donation to Code Amber's website.

The video was made by Glenn Olsen, who graciously offered to make it available to donators to Code Amber. It was made after Carlie Brucia, an 11 year old girl who was abducted from a carwash in Sarasota, Florida on February 1st. She was found 5 days later, dead. The video's purpose is to educate kids, so that hopefully no one will have to suffer this same deplorable fate. It teaches kids helpful lessons, such as what to do to avoid strangers, what to do if a stranger shows up at your house, and several other important lessons to be learned. It is also seperated with quizzes and activities, weighing in at a total of 30 minutes. If Carlie had seen this video, she may still have been alive today.

Interested in the video? It can be yours with a $25 donation to www.codeamber.org, and is available on both VHS and DVD, and around $12 is retained by them to cover operation expenses. Your donation could help save a life, it could even be your own child's. For more information on the video, and ordering information, visit www.CodeAmber.org/video.html.
