Nightwatch volunteers, along with the New York City Police Department, FBI, US Secret Service and other law enforcement and human service agencies joined hundreds of Staten Islanders on Tuesday night at Midland Beach to give crime a going away party.

A cool breeze cooled the boardwalk just enough to welcome Islanders young and old to the event, which featured give aways, music, and free food.
